“ADT opens 25^th Anniversary Season with Holiday Productionof ‘Mistletoe’” Montgomery, Alabama… From the Company that brought you “Peter Pan” and “The Little Mermaid,” the Alabama Dance Theatre will open its 25^th Anniversary Season with Montgomery’s holiday production of “Mistletoe,” featuring the beloved classic “A Christmas Carol.” Performances will be held on November 19 and 20 at The Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts, with over 120 dancers and artists participating in this year’s elaborate production of “A Christmas Carol” and “Favorite Dances of Christmas.” “Favorite Dances of Christmas,” a collage of dances set to beautiful Christmas carols and songs will feature the return of audience favorites, including “Sleighride,” and “Little Drummer Boy,” as well as new works such as “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” dedicated to our military families and personnel.Resident Choreographer Sara Sanford will bring back by popular demand the much beloved classic Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” with original music by Carl Davis and live music selections by the Montgomery Youth Chorale.Sponsors for Mistletoe include Merrill Lynch, Jim Wilson and Associates, Pickwick Antiques, along with Cumulus, WSFA, housing sponsor Fairfield Inn and Suites, and the Alabama State Council on the Arts.
